Ransom Note

Our final project in CDIII was to create a "non-font ransom note", creating characters out of non-traditional items. The note had to have something that was being held for ransom, and include it's terms for release. Here in Shippensburg, there is an ongoing thing between the people who live in the town and the college students - The citizens always complain about the students being rowdy and the parties and littering and etc. So to try and make them happy the police have cracked down hardcore on underage drinking. It's one thing to carry out the law but they are going all out and I know some people who won't be coming back next year because of how it's gotten. Regardless of one's stance on the issue as a whole I decided to take a somewhat humorous approach to this situation and take the police's badges for ransom, hence this letter. The letters are made from nightsticks, handcuffs, guns, police car siren lights, and drinking/alcohol paraphenalia - I took all of these pictures myself, the campus police were surprisingly cooperative in letting me photograph some of their equipment. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, I put alot of time into this and after seeing most of the other people's efforts I feel like I put alot more into it then I needed, but regardless it was worth it.
